MBDA Unveils Sea Venom Anti-Ship Missile

British defence manufacturer MBDA has introduced its Sea Venom anti-ship missile, designed for helicopter-launched operations and offering a short-to-medium range exceeding 20 kilometres.

Recently, the Sea Venom was successfully launched from a Leonardo Wildcat helicopter. Each platform can carry up to four missiles simultaneously, allowing for coordinated multi-target strikes.

Engineered to engage corvette-sized warships and larger naval vessels, the Sea Venom delivers high-speed performance while remaining subsonic. It is powered by an integrated dual-stage rocket motor, which combines both booster and sustainer propulsion systems within a compact design.
