Italy has showcased the Centauro II 8×8 armoured vehicle, renowned for its advanced mobility and protection capabilities, at Eurosatory 2024.
Representing a milestone in armoured vehicle development, the Centauro II can be equipped with a 105 mm or 120 mm main gun, depending on operational needs.
The vehicle’s overall length is 8.28 metres with the 120 mm gun, the hull height is 2.10 metres, and can reach 3.68 metres with the turret, with an overall width of 3.38 metres.
The Centauro II stands out for its powerful offensive capabilities, high mobility and durability, making it suitable for various combat and reconnaissance missions.
