India Unveils Fifth-Generation AMCA Fighter Jet

India has unveiled a full-scale prototype of its fifth-generation fighter jet, the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA), at the Aero India 2025 international airshow, held at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bangalore from February 10 to 14, 2025. This marks a major milestone as the AMCA will be India’s first indigenous stealth fighter.

Designed with cutting-edge technology, the AMCA features advancements comparable to the latest fighter jets, including the F-35 and Su-57.

Moreover, the AMCA boasts AI-assisted decision-making (E-pilot), network-centric warfare capabilities, an internal weapons bay for enhanced stealth, and an aircraft health management system for predictive maintenance.
