Reflecting this commitment, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, issued a decree mandating the teaching of artificial intelligence to all school students across the country. This landmark decision represents a strategic step toward preparing a generation that is innovative, skilled in future technologies, and capable of driving the knowledge economy. It is a step that aims to build a creative and intelligent society while ensuring sustainability in both resources and innovation.
Introducing AI into the national curriculum is not just a forward-thinking initiative—it is a pressing necessity in our modern era. Our wise leadership has made a sound decision in acknowledging this need. Today, AI plays a central role in nearly every aspect of life. Teaching it in schools empowers students with future-ready skills, enhances their capacity for creativity and innovation, and helps them make informed, data-driven decisions.
