Emirates Health Services (EHS) has achieved a new milestone in its journey of innovation and excellence, winning the second edition of the UAE Artificial Intelligence Award in the Best Public-Private Partnership category. The recognition honours the organisation’s pioneering efforts in advancing the nation’s healthcare ecosystem through its groundbreaking “AI Diagnostic Imaging Partnership” project, launched in collaboration with Unison Capital Investment.
With this achievement, EHS stands among the first entities in the UAE to implement advanced and unique AI applications that have accelerated medical diagnostics, empowered healthcare professionals, and improved overall patient outcomes.
His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of Health and Prevention, congratulated EHS on receiving the award, affirming that the recognition reflects the organisation’s leadership in harnessing artificial intelligence solutions across the healthcare sector.
He highlighted that the initiative has enhanced diagnostic speed and accuracy by up to 99%, providing essential support to medical teams and contributing to the nation’s broader efforts to elevate the quality of life and public health.
H.E. Al Sayegh emphasised that the UAE AI Award embodies the vision of the nation’s leadership to foster competitiveness and innovation across government entities, positioning AI as a cornerstone of modern governance. He added that the award also reinforces the importance of effective public-private collaboration in strengthening healthcare efficiency and readiness for the future.
“The Ministry of Health and Prevention, together with its partners, remains committed to advancing AI-driven projects in line with the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision, which aims to position the UAE as a global model in future medicine built on innovation and cutting-edge technologies,” he said.

The award-winning AI Diagnostic Imaging Partnership project has delivered tangible results across several critical medical areas, including early detection of breast cancer, pulmonary tuberculosis, strokes, bone fractures, osteoporosis, and chest diseases.
By integrating advanced AI solutions into diagnostic imaging, the project has set a new benchmark for medical decision support, improved patient outcomes, and established a world-class model for healthcare innovation and operational efficiency.
