UAE defence company Milkor has officially unveiled the “Commander”, a 16-metre high-speed patrol boat designed to deliver advanced maritime security solutions for regional and international clients. Built at the company’s facilities on the Abu Dhabi coast, the launch marks a strategic step in Milkor’s expansion into the naval defence sector.
The Commander has undergone rigorous testing and extensive technical upgrades, and is now fully ready for operational deployment.
Featuring a single-form aluminium hull measuring 16 metres in length, 4.4 metres in beam, and with a draft of just one metre, the vessel is capable of operating in shallow waters where larger ships cannot manoeuvre effectively.
