Pakistan has revealed its new Fateh-4 cruise missile, boasting a maximum range of 750 kilometres, a precision strike capability with an accuracy of five metres, and a speed of approximately Mach 0.7. Weighing 1,530 kilograms, the missile carries a 330-kilogram warhead, enabling it to engage strategic targets deep inside enemy territory.
The missile is launched from a Chinese-designed Taian TA5450 (8×8) transporter erector launcher, capable of carrying three ready-to-fire missile canisters. The mobile platform provides high manoeuvrability and rapid redeployment, both critical features for modern missile operations.
The Fateh-4 aligns with Islamabad’s strategy of maintaining a credible conventional deterrent to complement its ballistic missile programme.
