The QBZ-95B-1 carbine is an enhanced version of the QBZ-95B, used exclusively by the Chinese Navy.
The Rifle is essentially a lighter and more compact version of the QBZ-95-1 and it is issued to vehicle crews, Special Forces, and other units that do not need a full-size assault rifle in the Chinese army, as well as sailors and naval officers in the Chinese navy.
The enhanced version includes two main modifications compared to the QBZ-95B carbine as the handle was redesigned and the vertical grip excluded.
This new version is compatible with optical sights and features a different muzzle brake and a redesigned front grip.
