The American company “HII” begins building “USS destroyer “

The shipbuilding division of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) has officially started manufacturing the Arleigh Burke-class (DDG 51) Jeremiah Denton DDG 129.

Other destroyers currently under construction include Frank E. Peterson Jr. (DDG 121), Lena H. Sutcliffe Higby (DDG 123), Jack H. Lucas (DDG 125), and Ted Stevens (DDG 128).

The Arleigh Burke class can perform a variety of operations, from being in peacetime and managing crises to dominating the sea and combat.

These Guided missile destroyers are capable of fighting air, surface and depth battles simultaneously. Each ship contains both offensive and defensive weapons, the warship was built in the Flight IIA configuration for faster reaction time, higher firepower, and enhanced electronic warfare capabilities.
