Teledyne FLIR launches new surveillance systems

US Teledyne FLIR has announced the official launch of the SeaFLIR 240 and TacFLIR240, the latest additions to its line of high-resolution, multispectral surveillance systems developed for a variety of offshore and land operations.
With a stable lightweight turret, HD payload options and inertial navigation capabilities, the SeaFLIR 240 can support a wide range of missions at sea, including intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), search and rescue, and special operations.
The system’s advanced image processing technology and compact size make it an ideal fit for Navy and Coast Guard combat aircraft, small boats, and unmanned surface ships.
The system can support the detection and evaluation of medium-range objects and vehicles for military and homeland security customers.
