Swedish “SAAB” obtains a contract for delivery of Carl-Gustaf M4 systems

The Swedish company Saab has obtained a contract to deliver Carl-Gustaf M4 weapons systems to the Norwegian Armed Forces, and the company has signed a framework agreement to enable Norwegian customers to place orders for associated weapons systems such as shoulder-fired missile launchers, equipment and training systems within a seven-year period.

“We welcome the newest user of the Carl-Gustaf M4 Launcher,” said the Saab President. “It is a huge success to continue supporting the Norwegian Armed Forces, this time with a future-ready Carl-Gustaf M4.”

The Carl-Gustaf M4 is the latest version of the Swedish Saab’s Portable Missile Weapon Systems, which soldiers can use to meet emerging challenges on the battlefield, which include neutralizing armored tanks, removing obstructions.
