Spain develops new technology to shoot down swarms of “Drones”

The Spanish company “Escribano” for military technology has developed a new anti-aircraft system, called “Guardian 2.0”, that can shoot down “drones” at a distance of up to 600 meters.

The Spanish army began a series of tests to evaluate and equip various anti-drone systems.

The new anti-aircraft system includes the MK19 40 mm automatic grenade launcher with dual-purpose programmable high-explosive ammunition, or the Dillon Aero M134D Gatling machine gun with a high rate of fire of up to 3 thousand rounds per minute. The system has already been tested by the Spanish army.
