Russian army tests ISDM remote mine- laying engineering system for the first time

Russian military has tested for the first time the new ISDM remote mine- laying engineering system, which launches solid-fuel missiles, carrying different types of landmines. Remote mine laying is characterized by an increase in the speed of laying mines in complex environments.

According to known data, the combat vehicle is equipped in the rear with a multiple rocket launcher system consisting of two units, each of which contains five rows of tube launchers, each tube can fire one 122 mm rocket carrying a tube stuffed with mines of different types to remotely lay a specific area of ​​land with these mines. All firing is controlled from inside the crew compartment using a computerized automatic launch system.
