Russia tests mines detecting UAV

The Russian military engineering forces began testing a new UAV that can detect mines, IEDs, and other explosives from the air in the city of Mariupol in the Donetsk Republic.

Equipped with optical sensors and night vision devices that search from the air for dangerous explosives, the new drone flew in the airspace of Mariupol, whose neighborhoods were rigged with mines by the “Azov” battalion of the Nazi forces

The drone has a power unit and 6 engines that help it stabilize its position in the air during flight, while the onboard sensors monitor large areas of land from the air, which greatly facilitates the work of military engineers.
