Russia develops new unmanned military boats for the navy

Russian experts are working on a project to develop new unmanned boats for the Russian Ministry of Defense that will be used to train naval robots and guided submarine controllers.

The new boats will be equipped with remote control and self-guidance systems, GPS and GLONASS positioning systems, as well as systems for communication with ground guidance centers, in addition to platforms for launching water robots and drones.

Each boat will be 3.2 meters long, weigh approximately 300 kilograms, and can carry payloads of up to 150 kilograms.

These boats will be dedicated to training the Russian military personnel specialized in guiding submarines and unmanned marine robots.

Coastal guidance points will be developed to house a person to control the boat from a distance and another to control the robots or small submarines that the boat will launch into the water.
