Leonardo delivered the first two M-345 jet training aircraft to the Italian Air Force, which has so far ordered 18 units of total requirements for up to 45 new type aircraft, T-345A, selected by the Italian Air Force, which will gradually replace the MB-339s that has been in service since 1982.

The M-345 is a high-performance aircraft that supports the pilot’s transition from basic training to the latest generation of fighters, and the Italian Air Force’s acquisition of the new aircraft is an important step forward in modernizing its fleet.

The M-345 was also selected as a new aircraft for the Italian Air Force Aerobatic Team.
