The Israel Ministry of Defense will begin testing a robotic unmanned vehicle (M-RCV), developed by the Ministry’s Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D), the Tank and APC Directorate, and the Israeli security industries.

The vehicle includes a new robotic platform type BLR-2, a 30 mm autonomous turret developed, an active protection system, fire control, and mission management systems, as well as a robotic autonomous kit, in addition to situation awareness systems.

The vehicle also features a capsuled drone for forward reconnaissance missions, a passive sensing kit, and Foresight.

The vehicle will house the IAI missile launcher and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems “Spike” missiles, which operates during the day and at night in all weather scenarios.
