Germany supports its naval fleet with a new combat frigate

It was announced that a modern combat frigate had joined the the ships operating in the German Navy.

Ralf Koehler, commander of the German Navy’s 2nd Fleet, said: “I am delighted that the third F125 ship has entered service with the German Navy. We need such ships. Technically, these ships can serve as large combat frigates and as naval support ships and can be used to train crews.

These ships were armed with 127 mm guns manufactured by the Italian Leonardo Group, two 27 mm anti-aircraft machine guns, 5 12.7 mm machine guns, and two 324 mm torpedo systems, and were equipped with platforms to carry two NH90 helicopters.
