Egypt and Italy sign a big military deal

Italy and Egypt are set to make a major military deal, and according to the Italian business daily Milano Finanza, Rome agreed to a $ 1 billion military deal with Cairo, with new financial guarantees from the Italian government to Egypt, which may include six frigates and 24 M-346 training aircraft., 24 Eurofighter Typhoon jets, 20 Navy patrol boats, and one satellite.

Martino Milli, Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, said during his visit to the Industrial City of Rubiki in Cairo Governorate on December 8, 2020, that Rome supports production projects in Cairo, and work is currently underway on a grant project worth 3 million euros to develop several projects in Egypt.
