American AH-1Z Viper tests a new missile on ground targets

The United States recently tested its latest missiles, on land targets, after the success of its earlier tests on naval targets, as part of the ongoing evaluation.

The US Marine Corps revealed that the attack helicopters (AH-1Z Viper), known as “Viper” or “American Viper”, launched the latest JAGM missile  on land targets in a practical test against armored vehicles, after it was tested on naval targets.

The missile, which is manufactured by Lockheed Martin, weighs 49 kilograms, is 70 inches long, and 7 inches wide. As for its operational range, it reaches 5 miles. It is launched from helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, and is capable of destroying enemy tanks and armored vehicles while on the move, through laser designators.
