Al-Tariq, a subsidiary of the EDGE group within the arms and missiles sector, which specializes in designing and manufacturing high-precision guidance systems for air ammunition, is demonstrating its efforts to adapt its guidance systems to a penetrating warhead system, which was recently developed. The program is undergoing its final stages of qualification and field testing, and will be ready for production by the end of this year.
The integration of the system into the new generation of the penetrating warhead is a significant achievement for the company, allowing for the possibility of such a purpose-built warhead being included in the guidance system. This new feature enhances the ability to defeat targets, such as strategic infrastructures bridges, shelters, control centers, and fortified installations by taking advantage of the warhead’s superior penetration ability.
