Neurosurgery Division at Zayed Military Hospital is dedicated to providing patient-focused, world-class medical care for a spectrum of neurosurgical disorders involving head, spine and peripheral nerves, for the employees of the Ministry of Defence, their families and all members of the national service in the UAE.
Our multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons are at the forefront of treating brain, spine and nervous system diseases including trauma with state-of-the-art therapeutic procedures including neuro-navigation system, neuro-microscope, brain endoscope, minimally invasive spinal procedures using intraoperative CT scanner and recently the 3D exo-scope technique used both for cranial and spinal procedures, to assure the best surgical outcomes for all patients and less marginal intraoperative errors
Furthermore, there is a dedicated Neurosurgery ward with a team of dedicated neurosurgical-trained nurses and physiotherapists, providing cutting-edge clinical care with a strong emphasis on early post-operative mobilization to reduce post-operative pain, complications, recovery time and reduced length of hospital stay.
