The Gulf Health Council has revealed that people suffering from viral colds should not take antibiotics.
According to specialists, antibiotics do not cure viral colds, and contrary to popular belief, doctors recommend avoiding taking antibiotics because of their short and long-term complications.
Furthermore, when dealing with a simple cold or flu, doctors recommend resting, drinking lots of fluids, and taking painkillers as needed.
