On December 2, 2021, the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates celebrate the National Day, which this year coincides with the golden jubilee (the year of preparation for the fiftieth anniversary) crowned with fifty years of prosperity, glory and honor.
Fifty years, during which the Emirates moved from the desert to the horizons of space, providing a model for the advanced civilized State, the State of citizenship, achievements, sustainable development, safety, security, prosperity and progress.
Here is our State, looking forward enthusiastically to embracing another new fifty years, in which the Emirates, as promised, will be proactive, generous and referred to in every forum. Fifty new years in which the path of giving and development will continue, thanks to the insight, wisdom, guidance and sound planning of our leaders and Sheikhs, may God protect them. Congratulations to us in the country of glory and pride. Congratulations to every citizen. Every UAE citizen should be proud of the Emirates of goodness. Congratulations to every resident on the land of the UAE, who lives with us and breathes the fragrance of love, brotherhood, humanity and sincere brotherly relations.
Because the Emirates is the land of happiness, its days are all happiness, joys and holidays, but we distinguish from it a special day that our leadership called Martyr’s Day, in appreciation of our heroes, and in honor of their fragrant memory, which is a beacon to us.
The UAE’s righteous martyrs wrote epics of immortal heroism with their blood. They will remain in the nation’s memory as a source of inspiration and pride for its sons and important lessons in sacrifice and patriotism for future generations, and firm meanings to uphold the values of loyalty and meanings of belonging to its soil, loyalty to its flag, and rallying around its leadership.
On the occasion of Martyr’s Day, we pay tribute to its brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives while performing their national duty inside and outside the country, and sacrificed the most precious to elevate the nation and defend it with courage and sacrifice and give their lives for it.
The sacrifices of the homeland’s righteous martyrs, with their precious lives, will remain engraved in the pages and memory of the homeland and the conscience of the people of the UAE forever and ever.
