The UK Equips Royal Navy With New Logistic Ships

The UK’s Ministry Of Defence has Signed a contract with Team Resolute For 3 Logistic Ships For The Royal Navy valued at £1.6 billion (about $1.97 billion).

The UK Defense Minister, Ben Wallace said: “Team Resolute will develop a modern, robust and thriving shipbuilding industry in Belfast that will support shipbuilding in the future. By collaborating with Navantia, one of the world’s leading builders, we want to bring their knowledge and support and ensure that this is a long-term collaboration going into the future.”

However, the UK is yet to unveil any details about the new ships, but sources indicate that each ship is 216 m long.
