The Israel-based company, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems has unveiled a new, long-range, fifth-generation, high precision-guided air-to-surface missile system.
The new missile dubbed “Ice Breaker”, described by Rafael as an “Air Force power multiplier”, is a day and night operating weapon system designed for use with a range of air platforms, including fast aircraft, light attack aircraft, and rotary wing platforms against a variety of fixed or moving targets on land and at sea.
In a statement, Rafael said, “Ice Breaker is an air power multiplier, designed to meet the challenges of the modern battlefield.”
