On February 25, 2020, His Excellency Mattar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, toured the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX 2020) and Simulation and Training (SIMTEX 2020) exhibitions at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
During the tour, His Excellency, accompanied by a number of senior officers and officials in the Ministry of Defence, visited a number of the pavilions of participating local and international companies that showcase their latest innovations, manufacture and production of defence and military systems and unmanned technologies, and the latest technology in this vital sector.
Al Dhaheri heard from the exhibitors a brief explanation about the most prominent activities and projects, the most important modern industries showcased by the companies, and their future plans regarding unmanned systems.
The tour included the pavilion of Al-Seer Marine Equipment and Supplies Company, Technology Investment Science and Industrial Development Company, FlightWin, “Marakeb Technologies”, Houbara Company, Etimad Holding Company for Security Solutions, “Hot Zone Solutions Middle East”, Industrial Solutions, “Earth”, the Insider Deffence Company, the International Golden Group (IGG), the Khalifa University Pavilion, and the Technical Training Academy.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence emphasized the importance of UMEX and SMITEX exhibitions and their contribution to highlighting the latest innovations and technologies for the unmanned systems sector and employing them in the interest of enhancing security and stability.
