His Excellency Lieutenant-General Hamad Muhammad Thani Al-Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, met on February 24, 2020, in his office at UMEX and SimTex Exhibitions, both, but separately, Lt. Gen. Prabowo Subhanto, Indonesian Minister of Defence, and Lieutenant General Adam Muhammad, Chief of Staff of the Ethiopian Defence Forces, and Major General pilot Mohamed bin Saeed al-Maghidi Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, who visited the country to attend the activities of the two exhibitions.
His Excellency the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces discussed during the meetings the existing cooperation relations between the United Arab Emirates and those countries related to military and defence affairs and aspects of their activation and development.
