MESOC discusses counter-terrorism mechanisms

Held in the city of Aqaba south of Jordan, at the end of last October, the Middle East Special Operations Commanders Conference (MESOC) was attended by the Chairman of the Jordanian Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major general Yousef Huneiti, with the participation of 38 countries and more than 300 companies specialized in manufacturing defence equipment and weapons.

Held at the Intercontinental Hotel Aqaba, this conference comes in light of the technological development and rapid progress in the defence industries around the world.

During the opening of the event, the participating special operations commanders held three sessions under the name of the Middle East Special Operations Commanders Conference (MESOC), discussing many axes aimed at unifying concepts and the mechanism of action in combating international terrorism and how to deal with it according to strategic international plans and the expansion of areas of cooperation with modern warfare methods within the global special operations community.

Speakers gave detailed presentations, discussing and exchanging views to find solutions to the current challenges facing countries around the world.

The Middle East Special Operations Commanders Conference (MESOC) is the official event of the Jordanian Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX).

This one-day conference is hosted by the Jordanian Armed Forces and includes speakers from senior special operations officers and high-level experts from several countries.
