Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, received in his office Etienne Berchtold, Ambassador of Austria to the UAE.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation between their countries, as well as opportunities to strengthen strategic partnerships in various sectors, especially the military and defence fields, which serve to further development and progress in the two countries.
Al Bowardi stressed that the comprehensive strategy between their countries represents a new qualitative stage in the development of their longstanding deep-rooted relations, and will help usher in a new era of cooperation and joint action that will further development and prosperity in the two countries.
Moreover, the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
